I dont get how windows update decides its okay to update one minute and the next one it fails with the exact same error the validation key does
and i dont think its my fault that i cant get the MGA report here since it gives me a microsoft error while it shouldn t notify me that way. thanks for the heads up on that one though
plus it says i dont have access to activate the windows while i already have as far as i can remember

considering the validation part
i download the thk file and when i run it the popping window saying downloading nessecarry data to validate windows i cannot press neither of the two options download / continue
the continue option says i m not ready and the download options does nothing i ll post the MGA report asap
The download option should download an ActiveX control, which can take a minute or two, so just leave it to run. If it s still not doing anything after 15 minutes, then you can start worrying :
You may need to try using another browser - sometimes that gets around a problem.
I see your default browser is Firefox - did you use that to access the page. if so, then try using IE instead. If you used IE, then try FF.

Well - it shouldn t be read-only. the tokens.dat file, that is - change it, and check the permissions on it in the Security tab

its not read-only anymore i assume i got retry the cmd part i ll reply with the result i get asap. I got full access on the file from the security tab that is
Ok i just realised there was no tokens.dat
that is why i was getting the previous error
because somehow the file was already named tokens.bar.
apart from that i cannot start sspsvc now it says

While this is the first time I have seen this error in Windows 7, in Windows Vista getting the System Error 5 message when trying to start the SLSVC which is the vista equivalent to Windows 7 s SSPSVC meant there is file corruption of some kind. Unfortunately,
from reading the above posts, this is not news and is not very helpful.
When a user received the system error 5 message, we usually have the person try a System Restore to a point before the issue occurred and/or trying the sfc /scannow command which you already have tried without resolution.
If it is found that those suggestions don t resolve the issue, the next step is to refer to the user to Microsoft assisted support or to reinstall Windows.
Sorry I couldn t be greater help but it seems Noel has already covered all the bases,

Why on earth would you want to anyhow.
It would break the whole premise upon which Vista and Win7 were built - that of using the least privileges possible for any job.
